Welcome to the Basso Family Page.  Our family is built on the foundation of a strong marriage, and our marriage is built on the foundation of a deep and abiding faith in God.  We are blessed to have each other, and blessed to be able to share our lives with our friends.  Please check back, as I'm currently in the process of adding new pages to share our interests and our lifestyle.  And, please sign our guestbook and let us know you stopped by!

We are Dominic and Anne

We met and married in 2001, and began our family right away.  We grew up in California, but live in Minnesota with our wonderful children.

Karina, the 16 year-old.  She lives with her mother in California, and so we miss her much of the time.  Thankfully we are able to visit her, and she spends part of her vacations with us.  She's sweet, funny, and very bright.  We're incredibly proud of her!

Reagan, the 11 year-old.  Reagan is an amazing kid, doing all the things that other 11 year old's do, all while learning to cope with Asperger's Disorder.  He loves Sci-fi and fantasy as well as World of Warcraft (just like mom and dad).  He's a wonderful big brother  and is an incredible blessing to us.

Piper, the 6 year-old.  Our passionate, spunky child.  She keeps us creative, and on our toes.  She is all smiles and joy and brightens our lives daily.  She enjoys school, reading, and playing with her siblinngs who she mothers.  She brings a lot of joy into our home.

Bridget, the 5 year-old.  Bridget loves to spend her days giggling and following her big sister around.  That means that she also wants to learn and has started easy homeschooling lessons with Piper.  She has a tender heart and gives the best hugs.

Sarah is our baby in heaven.  After being diagnosed with HPE, she was stillborn at 22 weeks and 3 days gestation.  She was given to us too briefly, and her loss will always be felt.  Our family page would not be complete without her.  See the sidebar for our memorial page

Ciaran is 3 years old, and he is our rainbow baby.  Born less than a year after his sister's death, he brought hope and healing to his parents hearts. He is special for many reasons, including his diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.  But what we love most about him is  just that he's Ciaran.  He has started a special school to help him learn to do the things other 3 year old's do, and he loves it there.

Quinn was born on November 28th, 2007, a good five weeks before he was due.   He spent 12 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before coming home to join his family.  When he was born he was only 4 pounds 13 ounces, but he's getting bigger every day, and is a very sweet and happy little boy.

Our newest blessing is due to arrive on October 10, 2009.  That's just five days after our wedding anniversary.  We've learned through ultrasound that this baby is a boy.  And it looks as if he's perfectly healthy.  We are so greatful for what we believe will be another "take home" baby.  One we were surprised by, but can't wait to bring into our family and love.
