Welcome to the Basso Family Page.  We are a Catholic, homeschooling family.  Our family is built on the foundation of a strong marriage, and our marriage is built on the foundation of a deep and abiding faith in God.  We are blessed to have each other, and blessed to be able to share our lives with our friends.  Please check back, as I'm currently in the process of adding new pages to share our interests and our lifestyle.  And, please sign our guestbook and let us know you stopped by!

We are Dominic and Anne

We met and married in 2001, and began our family right away.  We grew up in California, but live in Minnesota with our wonderful children.

Karina, the 15 year-old.  She lives with her mother in California, and so we miss her much of the time.  Thankfully we are able to visit her monthly, and she spends part of her vacations with us.  She's sweet, funny, and very bright.  We're incredibly proud of her!

Reagan, the 10 year-old.  He loves dragons, pirates, and World of Warcraft (just like mom and dad).  He's a wonderful big brother, as well as a brave and gentle boy.   He protects and cares for his younger brother and sisters, and is an incredible blessing to us.

Piper, the 5 year-old.  Our passionate, spunky child.  She keeps us creative, and on our toes.  She is all smiles and joy and brightens our lives daily.  She's also quite the little mommy.  She nurses her dolls, and looks after her younger siblings.

Bridget, the 3 year-old.  It used to be that she needed to spend half the day in Mommy or Daddys arms, but now that job belongs to her little brother.  Now Bridget loves to spend her days giggling and following her big sister around.  She laughs easily and is still an incredibly sweet natured little girl.

Sarah is our baby in heaven.  She was given to us too briefly, and her loss will always be felt.  Our family page would not be complete without her.  We look forward to seeing her again one day, in heaven.

Ciaran is one year old, and he is our rainbow baby.  Born less than a year after his sister's death, he brought hope and healing to his parents hearts.  But he is special just because he's Ciaran.  He's very attached to Mommy, and is happy if he can spend most of it cuddling.

Quinn was born on November 28th, 2007, a good five weeks before he was due.   He spent 12 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before coming home to join his family.  When he was born he was only 4 pounds 13 ounces, but is quickly gaining and enjoying much love from his siblings.
